Strengths: In a dark alternative future an evil humanity hating Kai by the name of Zamasu did what was thought impossible in defeating Goku and using the Dragon Balls wished for his soul to be transferred into Goku’s body creating what he deemed to be the perfect fusion of a Kai’s soul inside the infinite potential body of a pure blooded Saiyan by the name of Goku Black, Possesses all of Goku’s strengths and skilled enhanced by Zamasu’s power, Wiped out the majority of mankind and the Z fighters casually, Has access to the Super Saiyan Rose form which is on par with Super Saiyan Blue, Before claiming Goku’s body Zamasu was easily the most powerful of the Kai’s and was deemed the strongest Kai to ever live, Can manifest his Ki into physical Weapons (his favoured being both a rose coloured Sword and Scythe), Despite being obviously evil his beliefs and intentions are so absolute that his heart is deemed pure making him immune to attacks on his soul, Is immune to the concept of time thanks to wearing a Time Ring (the Ring also saved him from being removed from history when his past self was killed via Beerus’s ‘DESTROY!’ attack), Effortlessly destroyed the Super Dragon Balls with Future Zamasu (each Super Dragon Ball is roughly three times the size of Earth).

Weaknesses: Being inside Goku’s infinite potential body only aggravated Zamasu’s already massive God complex to the point that even when he had the chance to wish for it he turned down the chance to be truly immortal believing that he didn’t need it, Despite his body’s potential for unlimited power Goku Black does not actually know how to access it (Vegeta even stated that it is simply a borrowed body for him and he would never access Goku’s true power).

Teth-Adam aka Black Adam info:

Height: 6 foot

Weight: 198lbs

Weapons: Bare Hands, Magic

Strengths: An ancient Egyptian prince blessed with the powers of six Egyptian Gods (Shu, Heru, Amon, Zehuti, Aton and Mehen), Each God’s power grants him an immense super power (Shu’s stamina grants him immense physical durability and removes his need to eat, sleep and breathe as well as grants him the ability to survive in space, Heru’s swiftness grants him super speed and flight, Amon’s strength gives him nigh on unlimited strength, Zehuti’s wisdom grants him vast intelligence and clairvoyance, Aton’s power grants Adam his immense Magical abilities as well as teleportation and Mehen’s courage gives him unbreakable willpower and healing), Was arguably one of DC’s strongest villains (to the point that every time he fought Superman he had him constantly on the ropes until help arrived), Has bested some of DC’s greatest (one shot Power Girl with a thunder clap, Defeated Hawkman whilst weakened, Tore out War’s heart, Flew through the Spectre, Beat Death to a bloody pulp, Effortlessly defeated the Teen Titan’s and killed Terra with a single punch, Tore off Amazo’s head with total ease).

Weaknesses: One of Adam’s very few weaknesses is Magic and can be brought to the point of death if hit by a powerful enough Magic attack, All of Adam’s power is linked to the mystical word of power ‘SHAZAM!’ and he can only access it if he can speak the word so if he is rendered mute before he can speak the word he is left powerless.

Battle begin!

“Tsk, disgusting mortals” Goku Black scoffed as he floated hundreds of feet over a large city in Egypt, his scornful gaze falling upon the many civilians living their lives in the streets below “nothing but a mistake”.

Raising a hand Goku Black generated a small Ki sphere in his palm, the jet black ball of energy pulsating in his grasp before he simply let it fall to the streets below, his eyes shining with manic glee as the civilians barely had chance to scream before their lives were snuffed out when the Ki blast explosion went off.

Enjoying the sight of the carnage below as the mortals were reduced to nothing along with the buildings within the Ki blasts explosion radius Goku Black then heard something over the sound of the explosion, a voice, a deep powerful thunderous voice.

“SHAZAM!!!!!”.

Looking over to where the voice had come from Goku Black found it to be coming from a huge temple-like structure at the centre of the city, a huge lightning bolt striking the temple despite there not being a cloud in the sky.

“What trickery is this?” Goku Black pondered before his answer was very quickly answered by a figure rushing through the air straight at him, catching the Kai off guard with a rough hand clasped around his throat to which his own hand clamped down on his aggressors wrist.

“You dare attack my city…my people!” Black Adam seethed as electricity literally crackled from his eyes.

“Worthless mortals, all deserving of death” Goku Black scoffed spitting down onto the ashen devastation below which only made Adam’s grip on his throat tighten “and you, you would dare defend such disgusting creatures?”.

“It is the duty of a God to protect those who worship him” Adam stated bringing a look of absolute disgust and hatred to Goku Black’s face.

“Then you are no God” the Kai sneered as his right hand began to glow.

A split second later Black Adam’s eyes widened as he felt a piercing burning sensation through his chest looking down to find that Goku Black had generated a Ki Blade from his hand and had impaled him straight through the chest and back “a God who lowers himself to protect mortals deserves death just the same as them”.

Expecting Black Adam to die by the impalement alone Goku Black was shocked when the Egyptian just looked back at him even more furious “SHAZAM!!!” Adam bellowed as he generated a force field of pure electricity around him forcing Goku Black away whilst the stab wound in his chest and back closed up near instantly.

“What?!” Goku Black exclaimed with shock before being caught off guard by Adam’s speed, the Egyptian appearing in front of him before delivering a double fisted blow to the top of his head sending the possessed Saiyan crashing down to the ground below.

Landing on his feet hard enough to cause a shockwave further destroying the rubble around him Black quickly responded with a volley of Ki blasts at Black Adam, suppressing his descent before cupping his hands to his side to generate a Black Kamehameha unleashing it as Adam fought through the previous Ki blasts to rush towards him.

As the jet black stream of energy shot towards him Adam simply teleported out of its way, reappearing behind Black slamming the back of his head to the back of the possessed Saiyan’s head cutting off his attack and sending him crashing through the nearby rubble.

Teleporting to where Goku Black had landed Black Adam reeled a fist back for a finishing blow only for Black to use his Instant Transmission to avoid the attack just had Adam had moments before.

As Adam’s fist collided with the ground cracking the earth for several dozen metres straight down Black reappeared behind him conjuring another Ki Blade, holding his hand high before swinging it down faster that the eye could follow aiming to decapitate his enemy.

That was until Adam’s free hand snapped back grabbing Black’s wrist before the Ki Blade could connect with his neck, the Egyptian looking back at the possessed Saiyan with pure fury as electricity crackled from his eyes “SHAZAM!!!”.

With another bark of the word of power Black Adam summoned another powerful lightning strike down upon them both, the Magic strike only empowering the Egyptian whilst blasting Goku Black back.

Slamming back hard against one of the stone walls that had remained standing after his initial attack Goku Black then grunted as Black Adam rushed towards him again delivering a crushing punch to his gut, the possessed Saiyan spitting out blood as Adam added Magical electricity to his fist sending an agonizing shock through Black’s body.

Pulling his fist back for another punch Adam flinched when Black used his Instant Transmission to disappear from sight, the possessed Saiyan reappearing behind him and conjuring a rose coloured Ki Scythe, swinging the Weapon across where Adam’s neck would be only for the Egyptian to teleport away like he had quickly turning around to clash his Scythe with Adam’s fists.

“Not bad, if you didn’t fight for mortals I might even have respected you” Goku Black sneered as he pressed his Ki Weapon harder against Black Adam’s fists “but enough of this child’s play, it’s time for you to see the true power of a God!” the possessed Saiyan then declared as his aura flared up, his power rising to new heights as he transformed into his Super Saiyan Rose form, his hair spiking up going from jet black to a bright rose colour whilst his body shone with a reddish aura.

With his strength greatly increased with his ascension Goku Black broke the lock between his Scythe and Adam’s hands shunting the Egyptian back before raking his Ki Weapon up striking Adam upwards cross his abdomen and chest.

Exclaiming as Black drew his blood Adam retaliated with a lightning strike from his palm, the Magic blast skimming Black’s arm and singing his skin making the possessed Saiyan growl with annoyance “with your power you could rid this universe of the filth that is humanity! Of all mortals! But you waste it defending them!” Black barked as he swung his Scythe again only for Adam to catch it below the Blade.

“What is a God without his worshippers? Without his people? You are no God!” Adam retaliated as he grabbed Black’s right wrist squeezing it hard enough for him to let go of his Scythe causing it to dissipate into nothingness.

Twisting Black’s wrist Adam slammed his elbow down upon the possessed Saiyan’s head before attacking again with a brutal uppercut to his jaw, sending him flying up into the sky before the Egyptian called down yet another Magical lightning strike with a roar of “SHAZAM!!!”.

With his ascension however Goku Black’s durability had skyrocketed as well allowing him to shrug off the strike with barely any damage save for some light singing. Before Adam had the chance to follow up his attack Goku Black Instant Transmission-ed behind him to strike him across the head with a light speed roundhouse kick knocking the Egyptian off balance before following it up with an Instant Transmission in front of him to rain faster than light punches to his face and abdomen.

Delivering countless blows faster than the human eye could possibly see Goku Black finished it off with a thunderous punch to Black Adam’s face sending him sailing into the sky before cupping his hands to the side “BLACK KAMEHAMEHA!!!” he roared firing the dark energy blast before Black Adam could defend himself, the Egyptian forced to take the entire blast as it struck him from below.

As the Black Kamehameha completely enveloped Adam Black smirked confident in his victory readying himself to wipe out the rest of the mortals in the city before moving onto his next target.

That was until the blast cloud cleared and Goku Black was shocked and a little impressed to find Black Adam still existent afterwards, his skin charred, burned and scarred and his suit ruined in several places but he was still breathing.

Letting out a scornful laugh Black Instant Transmission-ed in front of Black Adam before splaying out his palm in front of his face “look at you, pathetic, you can be wounded, you bleed like any pitiful mortal, you are no God”.

Just as he readied to fire his Ki Blast however Adam’s hand snapped up to grasp his wrist and move it sending the Blast sailing passed his head, Black staring in shock as he then watched Adam heal right in front of him, every wound and mark from the Kamehameha disappearing before his very eyes “you are right” Adam commented as his free hand then shot to Goku Black’s throat making him gasp.

“I am no mere God, I was born as mortal as any of those who walk the earth below us but I was born to become greater, you may have the power of one simple God but me, I have the power of an entire pantheon flowing through my veins!” he declared before throwing Goku Black to the ground with enough force that he couldn’t stop himself or Instant Transmission away before he struck the earth with enough force to create a small crater beneath him.

Before he had the chance to even get up Goku Black was struck again, the possessed Saiyan crying out as Adam shot down slamming his foot down upon his spine “Shu grants me strength beyond strength and nigh on invulnerability” Adam explained before suddenly disappearing from sight allowing Black to rise up only to wheeze as Adam reappeared in front of him delivering a punch to the gut “Haru grants me incredible speed and the power to fly like the birds, Zehuti gives me a mind above all others, anything you try, anything you plan” he continued as Black tried to punch back only for Adam to grab his wrist again “I can outwit”.

Gripping Black’s wrist with crushing force Adam then clutched the possessed Saiyan’s gi with his other hand before holding him high above his head “and the power of Aton gives me true Magical might, SHAZAM!!!!” he then declared again bringing down another lightning strike upon them only for Black to Instant Transmission away.

Reappearing in the sky several hundred yards away Goku Black clutched his stomach panting heavily amazed as to how the fight had turned against him so fast, had Adam been holding back against him all this time?

That was a thought he didn’t get to ponder long as Adam quickly found him and shot up towards up forcing the Kai on the defensive, dodging every punch the Egyptian sent his way whilst jabbing back every chance he could until he could generate another Ki Blade.

With his signature Weapon redrawn Black waited for the perfect moment before striking, thrusting the Ki Blade through Adam’s chest again but to his dismay Adam was once again before harmed by it, the Egyptian simply using their increased proximity to strike back, punching Black in the chest with enough force to shatter several ribs before grabbing him by the head, spinning him around before sending him plummeting back to the dirt straight through one of the several pyramids that surrounded Adam’s city.

As the structure collapsed around him burying under several hundred tons of rubble Goku Black slowly climbed out of it, his left arm now dislocated and broken in several places as he reverted back to his base form bleeding heavily from several parts of his body.

Before he had the chance to even move away Adam struck again, shooting down from the sky bringing his foot down upon the back of Black’s left leg shattering the bones completely making the possessed Saiyan’s face contort in agony before the Egyptian grabbed him by the back of the head lifting him towards the sky.

Unable to defend himself Goku Black could only lament how his Zero Mortals Plan wouldn’t come to fruition without him as Black Adam summon his most powerful lightning strike yet, his cry of “SHAZAM!!!” deafening to the point that Goku Black felt his ears bleed before the Magical lightning struck his body with enough force it was destroyed near instantly, his skeleton crumbling into dust in Adam’s grasp before disappearing into the wind leaving only the Egyptian standing.

With the possessed Saiyan dead and dealt with Black Adam took to the skies once again looking down upon his heavily damaged city, his ears filling with the pleas of his people to help them and like a good God to his subjects he descended down to aid those who called him their Lord.

Winner: Black Adam

Well, out of all my Dragon Ball match ups it’s almost refreshing for a Dragon Ball character to actually lose for once, this one marking only my second Dragon Ball loss since Broly and that was my first ever written fight.

Now I’m sure what a lot of people are thinking is ‘if you think Goku can defeat Superman how can Black Adam defeat Goku Black?’ and that answer is quite simple.

Goku Black arguably doesn’t even have the power of a God but in fact a Demi-God as the Kai’s in the Dragon Ball universe aren’t deemed Gods, in fact they live in fear of the God’s. And whilst Goku Black has the power of a Demi-God Black Adam has the power of six full blow Gods at his disposal making him easily one of the most powerful characters in the DC universe to the point that if nobody turned up to help him Superman could easily be beaten and be killed by Adam.

Another thing that puts Goku Black at an extreme disadvantage against Black Adam is that despite possessing a body with infinite potential he has no idea how to tap into that potential meaning he’s dead locked at his peak Kai power.
