If Dragon age: origins and Dragon age 2 characters worked together banter

Alistair and Fenris

(After first large battle)
Alistair: so…you’re an Elf
Fenris: last time I checked yes I am an Elf
Alistair: you have a big weapon for an Elf
Fenris: this better have a point human
Alistair: no need to get your undergarments in a twist, it’s just I’ve never seen an Elf wield such a big sword so gracefully, most Elves I’ve seen fight were either Rouges or Mages, never Warriors (if the Warden is an Elf Warrior) well except for the Tabris/Mahariel
Fenris: I still don’t see your point
Alistair: there’s no point, I just wanted to point out that you’re good with a sword
Fenris: I see…..maybe one day I can say the same to you
Alistair: now that was just uncalled for

(After the main characters discusses Fenris’s markings whilst in camp)
Alistair: can I ask you a question Fenris? A personal one
Fenris: I assume you’re going to no matter what I say *sighs* go ahead
Alistair: it’s about your tattoos
Fenris: make this quick human
Alistair: were you telling the truth when you said that they hurt?
Fenris: these markings cause me more pain than you could ever imagine
Alistair: oh…that’s terrible…I’m sorry
Fenris: keep your pity human, I do not need it

(Random banter)
Fenris: I have a question for you Alistair
Alistair: oh sweet Maker he said my name, quick! Look out for flying pigs!
Fenris: *scoffs* yes very amusing, I wish to ask if it was true that you trained to be a Templar
Alistair: oh…that, yes I was raised in the Chantry and was taught basic Templar abilities before Duncan took me to become a Warden, thank the Maker he did, I would have gone crazy if I was in that place any longer
Fenris: I don’t understand your reasoning, to become a Templar is a great honour and not something that should be passed up
Alistair: yeah but it wasn’t for me, I believe in the Maker and all but not enough to devote my entire life to him
Fenris: you’d be helping Thedas by keeping the Mages in line
Alistair: yeah, definitely didn’t want to dedicate my life to that
Fenris: fair enough but if you receive the offer to enter training again I insist you consider it, the world needs more Templars
Alistair: yeah….I’ll definitely think about it

(Random banter)
Alistair: so Fenris, what exactly do you do back at camp?
Fenris: what do you mean?
Alistair: back at camp, all you seem to do is lean against something and stare up at the sky, what exactly are you doing when you do that? Counting the stars? Trying to see the Maker? Hoping the Arch Demon will just randomly fall dead from the sky?
Fenris: are you mocking me?
Alistair: no, no! I was just curious *sighs* just forget about it

(Random banter)
Alistair: do you like cheese Fenris?
Fenris: can’t we go anywhere without you asking me some inane question?
Alistair: I’m just trying to make conversation; you seem to be a big fan of wine so I was wondering if you ever attended a wine and cheese party before
Fenris: have you?
Alistair: no but you seem the type, did you ever have any back in Tevinter?
Fenris: no but if I did I would have been serving the guests instead of being one of them
Alistair: oh yeah….the slave thing….I’ll be quiet now
Fenris: finally

(After catching Fenris verbally abusing Wynne when she admits to be harbouring the Spirit of Faith)
Alistair: Fenris, we need to talk
Fenris: *heavy sigh* what is it now?
Alistair: who do you think you are saying such things to Wynne back at camp?
Fenris: the only one sane enough to see her for what she really is
Alistair: she has done nothing but help us and you from the moment we met! You had no right call her that word!
Fenris: what? An abomination? That’s what she is Alistair and you’re a fool to think otherwise, the fact that she is harbouring a Demon makes her all the worse
Alistair: that ‘Demon’ you’re referring to is the Spirit of Faith, a good Spirit from the Fade, for someone who claims to know everything about Mages and magic you are remarkably close minded and dense about most things to do with magic
Fenris: I know enough and I would have thought an ex-Templar would be smart enough to agree with me
Alistair: well I don’t, I happen to be a little more open minded than you and I’m warning you, try to lay one hand on Wynne and you’ll have to go through me first and mark my words, I will not go down easily
Fenris: I’ll keep that in mind

(Shortly after Alistair’s first warning)
Alistair: I see you didn’t take to heart what I told you earlier
Fenris: oh what is it now?
Alistair: earlier back at camp, I saw you glaring enough daggers at Wynne to actually make her bleed
Fenris: if only
Alistair: I mean it Fenris! One hand on Wynne and I’ll cut you down I swear to Andraste!
Fenris: that is no threat to me human
(If Anders is in the party)
Anders: I recommend doing it beforehand; the bastard’s had it coming for long enough
Fenris: be silent abomination!
(If Sten is in the party)
Sten: not that I am prone to agreeing with the fool but Mage or not Wynne is important to our quest, harm her and I will by Alistair’s side against you
Fenris: *scoffs* and here I thought the Qunari knew where to stand with Mages
(If Zevran is in the party)
Zevran: whilst I normally prefer to stand back and watch your normally entertaining attempts at conversation I must take offense this time, harm Wynne and you get on my bad side and you do not want to be on my bad side
Fenris: I’ve seen you fight, I’ll take my chances

(After Alistair finds his sister)
Alistair: I can't believe I find Goldanna after all this time and she acts like that, as if I was some annoyance who wandered into her home
Fenris: you should be happy with what you got, at least you still have family
(If Varania was spared)
Alistair: your sister came to find you and you cast her aside like she was nothing, I don't like you have the right to gripe about family
Fenris: she was a Mage trying to become a Magister
Alistair: that's no excuse
(If Varania was killed)
Alistair: you killed your sister in cold blood! It's your own damn fault you don't have a family
Fenris: she tried to sell me back into slavery
Alistair: a life you chose for yourself! It was obvious she still cared about you and you tore out her heart without a second thought, you try to claim that you're not an animal and then you go and prove that very accusation! You deserve your loneliness
The first of what I hope will be several of fan made dialogue scripts between the DA: origins and DA2 followers

To start off with we have Alistair and Fenris, obviously I see them not getting on at all especially when it comes to Mages such as Wynne

If Alistair would say any of this he would be an ass.  Fenris didn't remember that he chose it since his entire memory from before is gone.  Also he only did it to so his sister and his family could be free, he doesn't deserve to be abused by his master or betrayed by his own sister for trying to help his family.  He pretty much sacrificed everything for them, including his own memory.

Not to mention Gaider pretty much confirmed that Fenris was sexually abused by his master.  If anything he was too nice to his sister, she deserved much worse for being a backstabbing traitor who would sell out her own brother for power.  The whole she still cared about him is crap, she didn't not give a damn for him at all.  The bitch only cared about becoming a powerful Magister.
